MATEX LTD.

MATEX Ltd. is an explorer focused on high potency Copper and Coal projects in Turkey and Indonesia.

MATEX specialises in discovery of economic mineral and coal deposits.  We apply leading high techniques such as ground based and airborne geophysicsical surveying and geochemical methods to evaluate the presence of mineral systems. MATEX primarily focuses on copper deposits in East Turkey and explored coal deposits that are JORG standard  in Sumatra, Indonesia. MATEX is also focused on finding strategic opportunities that help to accomplish long-life operations and is positioning itself to participate in the growth of the sector in Turkey.

MATEX's

 Strategies

Undertake initial feasibility studies to

evaluate development options

Gain required

approvals

Schedule sales to

Turkish copper refineries

Define sufficiently economic copper resources

that are established near infrastructures

Establish mining

operations

Present to potential joint

venture partners

Project Development

MATEX is progressively moving several projects towards economic realisation. MATEX is optimistic about the future benefits of its copper

deposits in East Turkey.

MATEX is actively searching the resources sector for new business opportunities, whether in joint venture or through outright acquisition. MATEX is determined to use its expertise into production scenarios whereby sustainable cash producing assets underwriting ongoing exploration activities and build value. MATEX is therefore investigating ‘brownfield’ properties where exploration potential is matched against production infrastructure and/or near-term mine development options. We are constantly reviewing such situations across Turkey.

• 4,850 Hectares concession located in Sumatra.

• Block 9 Asset IUP Production license already completed.

• Coal Grade between 5,000– 5,700 Kcal/kg

These sub-bituminous coals are generally high in moisture (30-45% total moisture) but have extremely low ash and very low sulphur (<5% and <0.5% respectively), making them ideal for blending or for feeding the new generation of power station boilers in countries such as India and China.

The coal bearing Muara Enim and Air Benakat formations have been identified from historical drilling (12 holes) and 15 coal outcrops at surface on Block 9. The Muara Enim formation covers 2,005ha (40%) of the Block 9 coal concession area and 1,533ha (35%) of the Block 8 coal concession area. Drilling core and coal outcrop samples show an average calorific value of between 5,300 – 5,700 kcal/kg and sulphur content between 0.059–1.04% (adb) which is consistent with nearby coal mine production.

Category 4 exploration licence was granted to MATEX Ltd in 2017. The tenement is located in the city of Bitlis. Bitlis is located in the east of Turkey. It has an average height of 1545 meters.

Region consists of high mountains. Distances ranged from 566 to 767 meters from the harbor. Road and air transportation are provided by the project. Bitlis in the copper mining area is likely to be the formation of hydrothermal origin. Copper ores is associated with quartz, in addition, the formation of copper ore, iron and minerals that have been observed in all environments. Ore was directed mainly to the effect of fault lines. Mineralization starting from surface to depth is progressing.

Airborne Gravity Magnetic Anomaly Map of the region's overall potential cases were uncovered. Bitlis Copper Project covering the licensed areas and airborne magnetic-gravity anomaly map of the study was conducted. The overall mineralized structure study is revealed.
